Pizzas to pastas, Italian food is all about a variety of sauces & cheese. Just a bowl of chicken and veggies dipped in a creamy rich white sauce is so Yumm….. Heavenly.
White sauce also known as Bechamel sauce, is one among the mother sauces of French cuisine and is used as the base in many pasta dishes. It can be prepared at home easily, and nothing beats a fresh homemade sauce. Pasta combined with chicken, broccoli, and mushroom in a white sauce makes the perfect Italian dish at home.

Could use a bit more liquid in the bechamel.
The veggie proportions are way off. If I ever try this recipe again I will add another garlic clove, and double the amount of veggies. If I’m going to eat that much pasta, I need better nutrition along with it.

I loved this recipe! And I doubled it for leftovers. I did add extra garlic. Did not have broccoli but I used cut spinach which was fabulous! Also, I reserved some pasta water to add to the bechamel sauce. Easy recipe! Thank you.
